FootballPogba Hints at Comeback from Injury with Silky Skills on Juventus Youngster; Video
- Paul Pogba is still working his way back to full fitness
- The Frenchman’s return to Juventus in the summer of 2022 did not work out as planned, as he was restricted to a handful of appearances
- In his latest video on social media, the 2018 World Cup winner hinted at a possible return to action
Paul Pogba has dropped a strong hint on making a return to football action through an interesting training clip.
The Frenchman has a torrid time last season as a string of injuries hampered him from making a dream return to Juventus.
When in full fitness, Pogba can be a force to reckon with in midfield, and this is evident from his first stint in Turin, where he won several Serie A titles and came close to Champions League glory in 2015.
While there is still uncertainty over Pogba’s return date, he did provide some visual suggestions on his Instagram about his fitness levels
This was done through a clip of the 2018 World Cup winner torturing 18-year-old Joseph Nonge with some fancy footwork.
From the footage, Nonge was unaware of Pogba’s next move as he was inadvertently nutmegged, sending the former Manchester United star to bouts of laughter.
What Allegri said about Pogba
Because of his persistent injuries, there were reports that Juventus could do away with Pogba in the summer.
However, there are strong indications that the Frenchman will still be a Juve player come the start of the new Serie A season, although the manager Massimiliano Allegri was unable to give a specific return date.
“At the moment, I don’t know when he will return,” the boss said, per JuveFC.com.
“He only did a part of training with the team. Let’s hope that from August 7th he will be able to increase his pace but it will be very difficult to have him available for the first championship match. We all plan to have it as soon as possible .”
